Not Lazy, Not A Laxative

This is not the way to impress people.

Maybe you are somewhat energetic. Well, for a disembodied head, anyway...But wait. The head is happy that the Milk of Magnesia is not lazy. In fact, it is so energetic that the rest of him seems to have disappeared.

Oh dear. That's no good.

You are very welcome :-)

And unfortunately I don't think the laxative ads ever really got better than that one LOL. But seriously, CAN a good laxative ad ever be made? (if there is one I have yet to see it!)

Well it is true; nobody likes a lazy laxative. :)

Sorry about the head shot. The rest of him can't get out of the bathroom.

Well in the world do you find these things? I am so thankful you do because I get a good laugh in the mornings.

And I agree with mincognita--who wants a lazy laxative?

Crystal - There were some great laxative ads, because (and I just read this in a Victorian bio) the diet then was so mean-heavy that people were...you know! And I guess into the 1950s too.

mincognita - No, they are very unpopular (am resisting Vitameatavegemin type joke right now)...

Bill - LOL! Oh dear. BTW I love your Gorey avatar!

Nico - Thank you! I find them in my growing collection of old mags and almanacs etc, some on line, and some I scan from the library which has a terrific microfilm section (not so terrific scanners though, as you can see from this ad,I will have to get busy with Photoshop this year and really learn how to use it!)

Unfortunate Names - I can't imagine what might have happened. Don't want to, really!

Lazy Laxative sounds like an especially cruel super villain. His sidekick could be Shifty Suppository *cue the shifty eyes*

sassafrasjunction - LOL! That'd make some crazy comic book series!
